Jana Kotulová is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ostrava, specializing in hematooncology with a solid background in molecular cell biology and immunology. With a profound focus on investigating the intricate phenomena in cancer biology, Jana is dedicated to advancing our understanding of hematological malignancies and exploring novel therapeutic approaches. Her previous research endeavors have centered on elucidating the mechanisms of action of small molecules as modulators of G protein-coupled receptors in the context of cancer therapy. Leveraging her expertise in high-throughput screening methodologies, Jana has made significant contributions to characterizing the efficacy of emerging anticancer derivatives. Presently, her research endeavors are centered on the exploration of cell-based immunotherapy approaches. Committed to academic excellence, Jana also actively engages in teaching activities and mentorship, guiding the next generation of researchers in the field.
