Open positions for Ph.D. students and Postdoc researchers

Employer: Blood Cancer Research Group, Faculty of Medicine, University of Ostrava, Czech Republic

The Immuno-Biophysics Lab within the Blood Cancer Research Group (BCRG) at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ostrava, is currently seeking motivated and talented individuals to join our group as Ph.D. students and postdoc researchers.

Our group has a strong interest in cutting-edge, interdisciplinary research in T cell and natural killer (NK) cell biology, using techniques and approaches such as advanced imaging, optogenetics, cell engineering (e.g., CAR-T/NK cells) and synthetic biology. We will investigate the biophysical principles underlying immune cell signaling, with particular emphasis on membrane and receptors organization and their spatial dynamics. By integrating advanced imaging, biophysical manipulation, and synthetic biology, we aim to precisely control T cell activity and develop innovative strategies for immune modulation. We collaborate closely with other research groups within the BCRG and with international collaborators. The offered positions will be funded by the LERCO project.
